A Real Look At Fashion For Teens
Don’t be caught up in fashion trends that will break the bank!
Finding your way in the fashion world, Trends seem to come and go. When they do they repeat them selves over and over again decade after decade So you may ask. Why does this happen? The answer is (because we fall for it again) If we did not buy what they were selling they would not keep doing it. You would think we could come up with something NEW not just something improved. It’s true with many things in our culture movies, cars, clothing, furniture. How many remakes of old movies do you see? Hundreds!!!. It’s like our brains can only change not create.
Fashion , the big SHOW OFF its all about money. Show off what you have, how you look In it! On it! Next to it! Under it! On top of it! Around it! Eating it!
They are advertising makes you FEEL like if you had what they are selling. You will feel better if you have these great things. BIGGER. The truth is that the feeling is only for a short time and then it goes away.
But while we are trying to find out what makes us feel good we become comfortable with this fashion that we feel makes us ,US! (our own look). We like what we see, at least for a while. We see someone else that looks good on someone else we think we will look good in it too. Truth is we usually don’t look that good because they have been digitally enhanced or have been starving for the last 4 years to look like that anyway.
So what is this whole trend thing anyway? The big guys think they can make us buy anything! A pair of pants for $300.00 thats true $300.00 and people are buying them. It’s sort of like the car that can get us from point A to point B it doesn’t matter what it looks like you just need to get there. But it does matter to ourselves. We need to look, act, have, what it takes to trick everyone into thinking we are………….?????????? WHAT………….?????????
What are we all proving? Are we proving we know how to waist money?
Are we all confident enough to not be caught up in all of this? Some are, but not many.
We want to feel cared for , it all comes back to that feeling that the advertising company does so well. We need to become who we are buy trial and error. Becoming confident in ourselves in no matter what car we take from point A to point B. What ever dress we wear to the dinner party. No matter what hair style we have. Make things work for you, Don’t work for them.
Finding your way has nothing to do with the trends. Creating the new being the person who makes a difference. This is a true feeling it’s real.
