Well, just for starters it’s perfectlysituated to be able to visit the hot and fresh world of the art scene. As you know a world all abuzzwith both old and new. You can watch furniture being made by hand not automatic machines at factories. I love this kind of stuff as you can tell. What it is that I really admireis the dying art of craftsmanship that is slowly eroding from the U.S. work force. Sure plenty of people still take pride in what they do but not much is handmade anymore and I for one am a bigfan of craftsmanship.

Then if the art scene is your thing there are possibly hundreds of galleries, shops and mom and pop outlets to suite your fancy. The area is brimming with the arts and even a few of the Amish hand crafts will be on display in some of the better shops for your perusal. The only spot I have seen in the country that might (and I use the word might overly liberally) have more art per square mile of township is Sedona Arizona that place is amazing. You will be safe to say that you will get your art fix and not be left wanting for more. Just bring a really good pair of walking shoes you’re going to need them.

Yes Lancaster hosts some of the very best bed and breakfast PA has to offer of that there is no doubt. If you like the arts, nature or true craftsmanship this is the one place that you will likely never find yourself bored in.
