Today Facebook become the most popular social networking site, with more or less 60 million user and at least 200,000 new members each day.
Beside as a media communication between online friends, the social networking sites such as Facebook can be use as our way to promote our blog. Unfortunately, not many bloggers who have used the power of Facebook. Considering the huge of facebook users and it is free services, you should try to promoting your blog through facebook.

Here are 10 ways to promote your blog through Facebook :
1. Promote your Blog on your Facebook Profile page
The facebook profile page’s position is in the top left corner of the Facebook dashboard. This is a good spot, everyone who signed in to your Facebook page, will see your profile first. Therefore, make sure you have including information about your blog address in the Profile page.
2. Include your blog address on your Facebook Page Info
Besides including information about your blog address in the Profile page, you can promote your blog through the Contact Information page. Write your blog URL address in the Contact Information page and set the box under your Profile page. The benefits including your blog URL in the Contact Information page is clickable so readers of your Facebook page can click your blog url to go directly to your blog.
3. Take advantage of Facebook’s status features
Many facebook user use Facebook’s status features to post their routine daily activity. Use Facebook’s status features to post your blog article summary. Do not forget to include link to your post the article so your readers can visit your blog easier.
4. Take advantage of Facebook Notes feature
Facebook Notes feature is one important feature that you must use. With Facebook Notes feature, you can write a personal note regarding your blogging activities or information about your blog. You can also import RSS Feeds of your blog posts as notes so every time you post new article on your blog, the article will also appear in your Facebook Notes page.
5. Take advantage of Facebook applications For Bloggers
For the purpose of promoting your blog, at least 3 application for Facebook that I recommended it for you to use: Simplaris Blogcast, NetworkedBlogs Blog and RSS Reader. Do not forget to show the third application as close as possible to the part’s on the left top of your Facebook page. By using this third application, your facebook readers can visit your blog, comments, give the thumbs up or becoming followers of your blog.
6. Create your own Facebook Group
Have you have your own Facebook Group? If not, now is the time to create it. With your own Facebook Group, you can build a community which is relevant with your niche. You can also make communication more effective and intimate with the readers of your blog.
