San Fransisco Nostalgia

I grew up watching cowboy movies and tales of the old Wild West weekend television with my father. I can not think of those old black and white movies, when I think of San Francisco and California in general. When I think of visiting San Francisco is a part of me that visualizes the San Francisco old, long before the earthquake of 1906, or not so long ago actually.

If you share my vision of the Wild West of San Francisco or just wonder what it would be like to walk the streets of the old one, perhaps one of these museums will give you a taste of the good Ole West without the outbuildings (one I could never wrap my look around). Even if you can handle world without sanitation, the idea of using most of the past while experiencing the comforts of modern life is very attractive to me.

That being said, the first museum on my list is open-air museum known as The Gold Rush Trail. Walk The Gold Rush Trail is literally followed in the footsteps of history. While this is not a museum that is filled with relics of the past, if you close your eyes and listen carefully, perhaps you can hear the ghosts of yesterday, they tell you the story of how this city was fair and that it is today.

The next item on the interests is the society of California Pioneers. The company offers not only a museum but also a library that is open to the public and artistic programs that focus on California. If you need pictures of the living history of California and San Francisco, is a good place to start. If you do not find what you’re looking for in the museum Check out the library and see if they have something that will quench the thirst of historical knowledge.

Museum of San Francisco is next on my list of places that offer a glimpse into the past of this phenomenal city. If you do not find what you’re looking for in the first two stops, it is possible that this museum will give the answer, or just at this moment in time, what you’re looking for. At the moment this is my favorite for studying the history of San Francisco in particular. With exhibits dedicated to such events as the Gold Rush, an earthquake in 1906, and construction of the Golden Gate Bridge, there is no doubt that you get the history of this city, not the state, not country. I think that much can be said about history and how it always seems that such profound implications for the future. If you can visit this museum, I would certainly recommend it more than others in this area significantly atmosphere of San Francisco, at least.

The history of any city is a vital component that makes this city the success or failure that it has become. Not only have the events in the history of the city had a significant impact on the future of the city, but also people from the city. These are people of any city, rehabilitation, reconstruction and to stay or pack up and leave. Is not it incredible that we have the opportunity to learn about these
