Homotaurine is scientifically proven to bind to beta-amyloid (similarly known as A-beta) proteins and subsequently lowers the depositing of the A-beta proteins in the Human brain. This is critically important because a number of respected scientists have come to believe that over time the build up of a specific toxic protein (that same A-beta) is detrimental to the Human brain. Eventually as this protein buildup reaches excessive levels46, it can often cause the neurons (brain cells) within the brain to malfunction and ultimately die. When our neurons are damaged or die, communication or signaling problems take place within the brain that ultimately affect our memory and learning abilities. When putting forth the effects of their Vivimind over-the-counter preventative therapy, OVOS makes a number of claims regarding what it is that Vivimind can do; Firstly, they claim that Vivimind is scientifically proven to protect memory function, based on the naturally occuring ingredient, homotaurine, prevalent in seaweed. Subsequently because of this fact, the people at OVOS go on to claim that Vivimind also produces the following effects:

*That it protects the structure of the brain associated with memory and learning
*That it preserves brain memory
*That it sustains brain cell health
*That it maintains verbal skills and comprehension ability
*That it supports planning and execution skills in the brain

When it comes to the discussion of the actual test results of Vivimind, OVOS Natural Health is really quite quick to show the public a number of what they claim to be positive results. They claim that in a grondbreaking study performed in Canada and the United states using brain scans (magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)), VIVIMIND was shown to significantly reduce the loss of brain volume in the hippocampus. Furthermore, they claim that VIVIMIND was proven to preserve 68% more brain volume versus any placebo (like a sugar pill). They have also made the claim that Individuals taking VIVIMIND performed better on memory and thinking tests compared with individuals taking a placebo. Supposedly VIVIMIND was found to improve cognitive performance (verbal skills, memory, comprehension ability, planning and execution skills) by 33% versus a placebo.

Taking into account the product’s massive potential for an aging population, you can begin to imagine why the makers of Vivimind are excited about finally being able to release it to the general public; of course at this time it is only available in a handful of countries, including Canada but not the United states, and the makers of the memory pill are hoping to get the necessary clearances to release it to the American public. If the buying public should perceive the new drug to actually have any preventative value then that could translate into a major commercial windfall for its creators. Given the financial stakes involved here, obviously the first few months of marketing and sales will be of extreme importance. It will be quite interesting to see how strongly Vivimind clicks with the buying public in various countries around the world.
