If you think about it, fashion styles go in and out of style so quickly. I know for me, by the time I get used to one style, another one already is taking its place. This is why I love corsets so much. They never have gone out of style. They have been around literally for centuries and women still obsess over them today. Although they never have gone out of style, there have been some most important changes with them. Mainly, the reason women wear them. luckily for us today, we do not have to wear them every day of our lives in order to get the perfect shape that society thought women should have centuries ago. Instead for us, we get to wear them when we are feeling sexy.

Even though the reason we wear corsets has changed drastically over the years, wearing them has not. I think this has a lot to do with what they represent when we wear them. I know for me that, no matter how my day or week has gone, all I need to do is put on a corset and I feel so much better about myself and about how I look. They are the best way to make yourself feel better because they instantly make you feel sexier. This is the main point in wearing them. They really can make any woman with any body shape look sexy because of how they are designed.

I think their design has a lot to do with why they have remained in the forefront of women’s lingerie century after century. They give any woman the perfect hourglass shape. They play up your bust size and your hips while minimizing your waist. This is what the original corsets did centuries ago and that still is what they do nowadays. Even though society’s views on women’s bodies have changed over the years, the hourglass shape seems to be a pretty classic look that we want to have for ourselves.

Although you do not necessarily need to wear corsets on a daily basis, they are the perfect item for getting that hourglass figure when you really want it. In the bedroom. I think they are so popular today because they are not a common fixture in our every day wardrobe. They are a specialty item meant to give you confidence and to make you feel like the sexy woman you really are. For this, I think it was a good thing that corsets stopped being something women had to wear every day and became something we wear to make ourselves sexy. Besides, we would not see them as that sexy if we had to wear them every day.
